On this webpage you can download DEMs (Digital Elevation Maps) in DRC format. This Format stands for 'Digital Relief Chars' and I've made it myself, they store the Elevation of a uniform net on simple to read ASCII files, anyway, Developpers can download a GNU-GPL DRC SDK with source code to read, save and display DRC DEMs files.
This files are intended to be opened using DG Terrain Viewer, that you can download at
